Constitution

What is the Constitution?

As a Carleton University Students Association (CUSA) club, the United Nations Society maintains its own Constitution, operating under the rules of Carleton University and CUSA.

What is the Society?

The Society is a forum for the discussion of international affairs and a team which competes in Model United Nations conferences.

The Society advocates education on international issues and understanding the mission of the UN and its initiatives. We seek to engage students from all programs and backgrounds in a world of applied diplomacy.

As a competitive team, we strive to improve the reputation of our school, and bring matters of international significance to the forefront of our community. We aspire to foster global citizens who value integrity, hard work and professionalism in all their actions, both in and out of committee.

This document outlines these values, as well as the rules and policy, that the United Nations Society upholds and operates by.
